This is a great 4" chukka-style boot. We like this style because it styles perfectly with shorts khakis or jeans. Without an artificially elevated heel (as you'd find in most commercially available boots) you feel grounded and stable while wearing these and they offer a great barefoot feel. The sole is constructed out of a shrunken buffalo hide which is the most durable-wearing leather we've found. The upper is made of a supple yet sturdy cowhide full grain in a great neutral reddish brown hue.
