When developing this color combination we knew we wanted something with lighter colors and cool tones -- somewhat more subtle than many of our other color choices but still very fresh. We had previously stumbled upon the most amazing light grey buffalo hides with a pebbled grain pattern and knew they would play a key role. While contemplating what to mix with them we noticed the cool grey granite surrounding a nearby fireplace and paid close attention to the subtleties within the stone; its overall effect was light but there were rich brown flecks throughout. The more we studied the stone the more we appreciated how beautifully the colors worked together. This introduction has been named "Granite" and they're striking! They're a part of our "Select" line of men's Cota moccasins. This canoe-style moccasin is a classic and it offers a great barefoot feel. These are appropriate for year round use in warmer climates and are perfect for spring through fall in more northern climates. We suggest wearing them with slightly dressier attire and they look fantastic with anything in the brown taupe or grey families - or use them as a neutral base with brighter colors. We predict that this color combination will become an instant classic. For those looking for a matching women's counterpart we offer it!
